The liquidation of the Social Democrat structure is a political necessity. The liquidation of Liberalism is a historical task. The former must precede the latter for the FREE STATE to emerge. One cannot happen without the other. They are complementary for synthesis.

In the post-modern society of the fragmented “self”; in the fragmented “culture” that emerged in the wake of the post-structuralist shock-wave; having transcended the cultural impact of the the World Wide Web and wireless applications; having experienced the lived moment of anarchy in context of the anti-globalisation upsurge: I conclude that “left” and “right” are meaningless words, that politics in the third age of the open society revolve around issues of Ecology, Technology, Identity and Life.

INFO/ECOTOPIA: The Third Way should become a Third Sector: Not Private and Not State. The Third Sector would formulate and implement solutions to valid social and ecological concerns. Social Services (Safety Net, Healthcare, Education-Culture, Transparency); Ecological Sustainability Systems (such as Stable State Recycling and Sustainable Energy); and both “infrastructure” (extensive) and “social” (intensive access) expansion of the Wireless Mobile Flat Earth Network (The Grid) would be administered by non-profit NGO’s. The NEW GLOBAL PUBLIC SECTOR would be financed by a Tax on Global Financial Transactions (Tobin Tax) and Flat Bioregion-local Ecological Taxes; Existing National income, estate and capital gains taxes would be abolished. Energy becomes the new currency with the PHOTOVOLTAIC-HYDROGEN economy: An economic system where natural wealth, energy, human labour and information are valued before they are processed. The Wireless Mobile Flat Earth Network evolves into a TAX FREE forum of information and services exchanges.

Two brief critiques of key Liberal ideological assumptions:
1. Liberals assume that motivation is always rational. This is simply not true. Irrational impulse, tradition, customs and social pressure factor as motivators for action as much as rational calculation. In fact, rational calculation is possibly the least among these. The level of dysfunction in post-modern society attests to this.
2. Liberals assume that persons have "God given", "Inalienable"
and "Natural" rights. God is no respecter of persons (the Bible says so), nothing is inalienable (unless defended with armed force) and finally nature is indifferent. It does not respect "rights". Humans manufacture "Legal Rights" (and they can claim them as long as they can defend them with force), but they do not have any "Natural" ones.
Addition: The Liberal idea that "Man is over principle" is another asumption that has been imposed in recent years following the victory of the neoliberal spectacle as the official ideology of globalisation. This idea is the foundation upon which anti-ethical relativism exists. I understand that "principle" is an idealist construct and that in the abstract and without a material basis it is meaningless. However, the idea of "man" fronted by Liberals is equally idealistic, specially given the assumption of "rationality" critizised above.
